I chose this picture because it doubled on the word play for shot, given it is a photo shoot and there are guns. Besides the goofy double use I actually like this picture for a couple. I like it because they are together and confident about being together despite how silly they look, which is something I feel should be a part of love rather than arbitrary “couples actions.” They also go for contrasting colors in this shot with the white in black, emphasizing not only their individuality, but how those
This was based on the assignment found here (http://assignments.ds106.us/assignments/thats-not-what-i-expected/). I thought this would be interesting given how different certain things would look so close up rather than through the perspective we as humans are used to seeing. Here is my object. If you could not guess what it was, it was the smooth finger grip from a game controller. With the flash and that proximity it almost looks like a wall or a crayon to me.

When I think of shadows my mind goes to shadow puppetry because it is so a fun and interesting way to convey a message. I really appreciate the plasticity of shadow puppets in what they can be and represent.
This was my take on the assignment found here (http://assignments.ds106.us/assignments/the-eye-exchange/). I chose to use my friend’s eye and put in the symbol for Dalamud from Final Fantasy XIV in it, since he absolutely loves that game. Dalamud was effectively the source of a catastrophe in the game and as such serves as a large symbol for the game as well as a symbol of persistence and overcoming adversity even when brought to the brink of nothing. I guess that is why I wanted to share this symbol because to my friend, myself, and millions of others this is a symbol
